Overview

This page contains research conducted by ASPIRE Research, including personal and student projects. Most of the projects I work on are limited studies to help students gain experience conducting research. Here is a brief breakdown of interests:

• Attitudes — exploring how people’s attitudes shape their worldview, well-being, and relationships.
• Spirituality — examining how spiritual beliefs, practices, and experiences influence meaning-making, motivation, and direction in life.
• Positivity — investigating optimism, hope, and positive affect as factors that support resilience, well-being, and responses to setbacks.
• Identity — studying how personal identities relate to attitudes, spirituality, and positivity to influence beliefs and behavior.
• Religion — analyzing specific religious traditions and beliefs as a basis for interpreting meaning, responsibility, and ethical decision-making.
• Education — connecting these themes to teaching and learning, especially how attitudes influence educational practice and responses to technologies like AI.

Once in a while, there may be something I think may be publishable, but that’s not my goal. In full transparency, I enjoy researching to gain new information, and I enjoy sharing that information. I just really, really don’t like writing academic papers and dealing with the formatting requirements every journal has. Fortunately, I’m in a great environment; I don’t have to ‘publish or perish,’ I have no interest in being published for the sake of it, and I only want to share what we find if it helps others or seems interesting.

With that said, anything of interest but not good at a standard to be published will be posted on this site, and on @drvincejeevar and linkedin.com/in/vincentjeevar.
